Energy Storage Europe 2017: Exhibitors have already booked 30 per cent more floor space

Early bird rates for Energy Storage Conference are only still available until 31 January 2017

Düsseldorf, 17 January 2017 – The exhibitors at the energy storage trade fair Energy Storage Europe 2017 have already booked 30 percent more floor space up to the turn of the year compared to the same period last year.

The companies that will be presenting their products and services from 14 to 16 March in Düsseldorf will include leading global providers such as Samsung, ads tec, Hoppecke, Yuasa, ABB, Siemens and GNB Industrial Power.

The participation of such companies further increases the technological range and the B2B focus offered at the trade fair. Up until 31 January, there are still early bird tickets to be had for the conferences Energy Storage Europe Conference (ESE) and the 11th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES 2017) organised by EUROSOLAR e.V., which will be taking place in parallel.

Here you will find press images:

"Our trade fair team has recorded more registrations from industrial and trade related exhibitors for all storage technologies. ENERGY STORAGE EUROPE continues apace to expand its position as the leading B2B trade fair network for the world of energy storage”, says Hans Werner Reinhard, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf. This year once again, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy will list the Energy Storage Europe as the leading international trade fair for energy storage.

Battery storage, thermal, mechanical and chemical storage

In addition to battery storage technologies, this year in Düsseldorf thermal, mechanical and chemical storage devices

will once again be presented, as will compressed-air storage devices and Power to X solutions. These technologies have other benefits than battery storage devices and have a decisive role to play in the future shape that the energy change will take. " The importance of energy storage is growing enormously. Following the photovoltaic and energy storage segments, the wind energy and energy storage segments are now strongly pushing to the forefront of the energy market. In concrete terms, this means large energy projects that will involve a variety of sectors being connected with each other. This will also see the development and introduction of new technologies, other types of challenges and new framework conditions. Power-plant operators and industry, as well as power-generating companies and public utility companies should inform themselves in good time about the possibilities and gather the necessary experience”,

is what Urban Windelen, Managing Director of Bundesverband Energiespeicher BVES e.V. [The German Energy Storage Association] believes should happen. BVES is one of the initiators of Energy Storage Europe and will organize a joint stand for the member companies at this year's trade fair.
